Obejmuje on miejsce pami\u0119ci muru, centrum dokumentacji muru i Kaplic\u0119 Pojednania.Zesp\u00f3\u0142 Pami\u0119ci zosta\u0142 otwarty po d\u0142ugich i gwa\u0142townych dyskusjach 13 sierpnia 1998. Odtwarza na pierwotnym miejscu zrekonstruowany \u015brodkami artystycznymi odcinek muru. Centrum dokumentacji, prowadzone przez powo\u0142an\u0105 do tego celu organizacj\u0119, zosta\u0142o otwarte 9 listopada 1999. W roku 2003 powsta\u0142a wie\u017ca widokowa, z kt\u00f3rej mo\u017cna dok\u0142adnie obejrze\u0107 mury kompleksu pami\u0119ci. Obok aktualnej wystawy (od roku 2001 pod tytu\u0142em „Berlin, 13 sierpnia 1961”) udost\u0119pnione s\u0105 r\u00f3\u017cne informacje o historii muru. Poza tym odbywaj\u0105 si\u0119 tu seminaria i inne imprezy.
